First of all , I would like to wish the broad Oromo people at home and abroad a happy summer and a happy spring ; Irreechi is one of the reflections of the Gada system and strengthens peace, coexistence and brotherhood among ethnic groups throughout the country. Irreecha is a festival of peace and forgiveness as well as thanksgiving and will be celebrated by millions forever. Therefore, Irreechar is part of the civilization and philosophy invented by the Oromo. Like any other Oromo rituals, Irreechi was conducted according to the constitution and laws, morals and traditions that Oromo made in the morning. Thus, the Irreecha festival has been celebrated with great respect and aspiration among the Oromo people for thousands of years. Irreecha has become a symbol of unity, a platform where the beauty of Oromo appears as a hill among the world and ethnic groups, and a pillar of ethnic brotherhood. It has proved to be a pillar of the country’s economy by serving as a destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
