The department is providing strong support and monitoring to ensure that the irrigation projects it is constructing in various places are completed within the stipulated time frame.
Accordingly, the Finna Bala Project in Laaloo Qilee District of Qellam Wallagga Zone was visited by a delegation led by the Deputy Head of the Bureau and Head of Irrigation Development and Pastoralist Infrastructure Sector of Oromia Engineer Alamuu Raggaasaa.
The visit was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Orissa Engineering Corporation, Eng.
The project was started by the water works contractor Taddasa Tasisa at a cost of Rs 462,288,9 The contractor should deploy sufficient manpower and machinery within five days to complete the work and if this is not done, administrative action will be taken.
