As a state, 64,464,460 cubic meters of water has been stored so far under the Water Intensification Initiative.

Accordingly, 64,464,460 cubic meters of water was stored from 45,099 household lakes, 2963 community lakes, 359 droplets and 99 percent wells from rainwater and various sources.

The water storage will also improve the water shortage problem faced in Oromia.

Farmers are ready to sow various crops with the strengthened water, he said.
