The management of the district Irrigation and Agriculture Office has discussed the plan for the 2016 irrigation wheat production in the district.

In North Shawaa, 125,078 hectares of land is being prepared. The 2016 irrigation preparations were discussed in Fiche town in the presence of the Committee of the Bureau of Irrigation and Horticulture Development of Oromia and the Offices of Irrigation and Agriculture Development of the District. The purpose of the forum is to review the status of irrigation development preparations for 2016 as a district.
During the discussion, issues such as shortcomings were raised and directions were given on how to solve them.
