The second phase of the LLRP II program was officially launched at the Oromia Bureau of Irrigation and Horticulture Development in the presence of senior stakeholders of the project from federal to district levels. Deputy Head of the Bureau and Head of the Office of the BMJHB, Mr. Katamaa Urgaa, in his opening remarks, said that the program has done a great job for the benefit of the farming community in the past The World Bank and IFAD have launched LLRP II in 21 horticultural districts in the presence of stakeholders, said the Regional Coordinator of the program, Mr. Gurmeessaa Leellisaa.
The opening of the LLRP II Project was attended by the Federal Level Coordinators , regional stakeholders,District and District Administrators of the farmers.
Plans for the program for subsequent years were presented by experts .
