The community has benefited from the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihood Project (DRSLP- II) in the past six years in the areas of Water, Pasture Land Development, Livelihood Improvement, Construction of Livestock Marketing Center and Roads.

The farmers of the district told us that the works done for them by the project have improved their livelihood. Especially in terms of water supply, the work done for us has made us calm and settle down, he said.

Mr. Sora Gayo is the Head of Irrigation and Horticulture Development Office. The project has not only solved the problems of the community but also made the community enter the economy and become competitive, he said.

Mr. Diid Tadhii Jaarsoo, Head of Dhaas District Roads and Logistics Office, said the project has constructed 18KM road to Borbor Mataa Arbaa to solve the problem.

Mr. Kiyya Hussein is the Mayor of Dhasi. They said the construction of the livestock market center in the town has increased the town’s income and created job opportunities for people to sell various products in the area.
